Espresso-Flavored Nuts

Yields 2 cups

 

1 cup almonds

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 teaspoon finely ground espresso

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1. Toss almonds in oil.

2. Pour on a baking sheet and put them in an oven, preheated to 350 degrees, for 8 to 10 minutes until slightly toasted.

3. In another bowl combine other ingredients.

4. Toss nuts into mixture until lightly coated. Bake another two minutes.
